An Uncontested Dissolution of Marriage is what the Court refers to as a divorce by agreement between the parties. Divorces by agreement cost much less than contested divorces and can be resolved relatively quickly. It is always recommended that the parties attempt to reach an agreement amongst themselves before engaging in litigation, but unfortunately, for many, that is not an option.
